Our expertise
Being part of one of the biggest agro holdings in Central And Eastern Europe, AgriVia Oil is agro-industrial
vertically integrated company, located in Bulgaria with operations office in the capital Sofia. We are engaged in
a wide range of activities, including sunflower oil producing and storage. The company owns and operates two
oilseed crushing facilities strategically situated in the central area of the country.
In June 2022 the leading Bulgarian agri holding Agria Group Holding AD acquired 100% of the shares of Agrivia
Oil and integrated the sun and rape oil trading business of the company as part of its agri business lines in
Bulgaria.
Being part of Agria Holding, we are under construction of a new crushing facility with refinery with a
manufacturing capacity of 600 tones of sunflower seeds per day, which will produce around 90k metric tones of
crude oil per year. It is expected to become operational until the end of 2026.
In addition, through the years we developed long term business relations with more than 20 local crushing
plants, based in Bulgaria and Romania.
Furthermore, AgriVia Oil runs a global commodity trading business, active in Mediterranean, Middle East,
Europe, Asia and Latin America. The total volume of sun oil traded per year is around 150k metric tones.
We are currently exporting around 80-90% of our traded volumes with sun oil by vessels, wagons and flexi
tanks, including to the EU, North Africa, South Africa and Midle East.
Among our regular and trusted buyers are Wilmar International, Lesieur Morocco, Lesieur Tunisia, Iffco and
many other big European consumers of sunflower oil in Italy, France, Spain and UK.
